Roland Hurrington has been a personal trainer at Fit Athletic since 2008.  He prides himself on creating workouts for his clients based on their needs and desires.  He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and the Texas Army National Guard.  Through his own experience in athletics, Roland finds importance in his clients’ abilities to move their own body weight through calisthenics, stability & agility exercises, suspension system training, as well as traditional free weights and machines.  With a versatile approach tailored to each individual, Roland takes great pride in helping clients achieve their goals and do things they might have otherwise thought unattainable.

In her spare time, Florence enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with loved ones.

Chris began his career in personal training in 2003 certified through the Athletic and Fitness Association of America. In addition to assisting individuals improve in varying aspects of general health and fitness. Chris specializes in helping those suffering from a variety of biomechanical issues. These range from chronic muscular tension and back pain, to problems stemming from old injuries, joint problems or surgeries. Having experienced chronic back pain himself for many years, he is passionate about finding solutions to these problems that many suffer from. Some specific areas of focus are the importance of a strong mind/body connection and bringing consciousness to the body’s movements. In addition, Chris emphasizes the development of joint strength and mobility, muscular flexibility, body symmetry, myofascial release, and of course, having fun while doing it! Building a strong foundation in these areas maximizes the body’s functional range of motion, minimizes risk of injury, and will keep you enjoying all your favorite activities pain free for the long term.

Kami went on to obtain her Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in hopes of helping and inspiring others to overcome their own struggles to live a healthy and balanced  lifestyle. She has adopted a holistic health approach to fitness and nutrition. Kami specializes in helping clients with strength training, muscle toning, weight loss, and lower body development. Greg has been a Personal Trainer since 1981, and is a certified Sports Therapist for over 25 years. His training style demand is sports specific for what the sport entails and is structurally integrated with task-oriented goals. He started working out at the age of 9, and has competed in men’s Bodybuilding since he was 18. Kyle is the Fit Athletic Training Director.  He was an athlete coming into college, and worked under a former NFL Strength Coach at the Texas A&M Rec Center.  His passion for fitness was amplified by the guidance given to him at the A&M weight room, where he learned many unique philosophies and techniques specific to strength training.  Kyle loves working with any client, and is dedicated to producing results by motivating them along their journey to a healthier life!  He specializes in cross-training programs, intensive cardio, and strength based technique movement.  Along with that, he identifies and targets a weakness by evaluating every step or movement his client makes.  From there, his drive is to transition those weaknesses into strengths, which have produced magnificent results for anyone he works with.
